Magic Sam
Hands down one of the best Chicago blues albums West Side Soul by Magic Sam from '67. Easily considered just as talented as the likes of Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf, Magic Sam tragically died just two short years after the release of this album of a heart attack. Sam's distinct sound is best represented in the tracks "All Your Love" with his high voice and unique chords along with his remake of "Sweet Home Chicago." Electric soul here folks, this album was reissued last year, it's a great listen on vinyl if you pick it up...
